Started in 2004 by a cooperate of musicians, founder Ariel Aparicio (Loving the Alien, Moth Music, owner of Joya Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY) developed the Bully Records label as a artist-centric non-exclusive conglomerate, committed to distributing quality music. "I started Bully Records for self-serving reasons but it grew into something else. The idea is to bring all our resources together as musicians, to help each other and therefore, help ourselves. I believe we all have the same basic goals - to record good, honest music and get it out there. (Selling a million copies wouldn't hurt either)."
